Hi my name is Leonardo Migliaretti, I am twenty-five years old and I hold a BA in "Dams - Drama, Art and Music Studies" at the University of Bologna. I spent my final BA academic year abroad at the University of Theatre and Film Arts (SZFE) in Budapest. Lastly I hold an MA in "Visual Arts" at IUAV University of Venice. My main artistic practice is video, but I am also interested in digital and paper photo editing. My theoretical and curatorial research, on the other hand, shifted from the visual to the sound. Starting with my undergraduate thesis, which analysed the audiovisual identity of the record label Warp Records and further researching in my master thesis A collage of digital fragments in which I investigate the relationship between underground electronic music and the internet, and how technical reproducibility has shaped its future, the aesthetics of contemporary electronic music, as well as a passion, has become my research focus. I'm looking for a work experience in the music field, which also has a strong focus on the visual and where my multidisciplinary approach, between practice and theory, is valued. I aim to expand my skills and engage in roles such as music curator, videomaker, or art director.
